History

Together they worked on developments in the seat airsprings and shockabsobers sleeves which have helped improve the ride for commercial vehilcels over the last 25 years.

During a previous recession the business changed slightly and Dr Amstrong became the sole propritor of the company which he further developed with the help of his family and skilled workforce.  At the age of 68 Dr Armstrong decided that it was time to retire and the sale of AB Pneumatics to Peter Blair and Jonny Boomer took place in May 2010.

Dr Armstrong has been instrumental in the products AB Pneumatics have developed over the years but he is still heavily involved with the firm assisting with new projects as well as passing on some of his vast expertise in the rubber industry.  Even after all these years he is still very motivated when it comes producing a quality product.
